 Platypus GUI is fine, but I would like to leverage platypus to create an
 Application for XSANE at install time (ie no GUI !).

 the Platypus CLI appears not to be built currently. Would it be possible
 to build and install it ?

 Something along the lines of what the osxutils port did
 (source:trunk/dports/sysutils/osxutils/Portfile) might be necessary to
 build both the Platypus and "platypus command-line tool" XCode projects.
