Comment:

 Please remember WikiFormatting, to fill in the port field, and to Cc the
 port maintainer.

 The file in question does exist on the server ftp.freedesktop.org. I
 wonder why you couldn't fetch it. Are you able to connect to that FTP site
 manually? If not, can you connect to other FTP sites?
