 Well, at the first sight, I would maybe recommend you use a more recent
 version of gcc. Compile gcc45 (which should not take long), get my
 universal portfile for atlas (ftp://ftp.cimaxonline.fr/Portfile-atlas-
 univ) and try building it with the +gcc45 option.
