 So either delete the file
 {{{/opt/local/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.9/darwin-
 2level/Locale/gettext.pm}}} and try again or force the activation:

 sudo port -f activate p5-locale-gettext
 sudo port install claws-mail
 }}}
