The muniversal PortGroup basically performs the configure, build,
destroot, and test phases twice.[[BR]]
The first time, -m32 is passed to the fortran compiler to build i386 or
ppc libraries.[[BR]]
The second time, -m64 is passed to build x86_64 or ppc64 libraries.[[BR]]
After the destroot phase, the muniversal PortGroup merges the two
installations using, among other things, lipo to form a universal
installation.
