Old description:

New description:

 After a fresh install of macports 1.8.2 on OSX 10.5.8, I installed gnuplot
 with no problems. However the resulting build fails to run:

   Referenced from: /opt/local/bin/gnuplot
   Reason: Incompatible library version: gnuplot requires version 11.0.0 or
 later, but libfreetype.6.dylib provides version 10.0.0

 $ sudo port upgrade outdated
 Error: No ports matched the given expression
