 For those of you trying to get this to work, I did it like so:
 {{{
 % cd $(port dir hs-mmap)
 % sudo cp -p Portfile Portfile.orig
 % sudo port edit hs-mmap
 }}}
 There I changed haskell-setup to 0.4.1, added a line "epoch 1", and
 updated the checksums to the version
 [https://trac.macports.org/changeset/65344 r65344]. Then:

 % sudo port -d checksum hs-mmap
 % sudo port -d livecheck hs-mmap
 % sudo port -d install hs-mmap
 }}}
 "checksum" just verified that I had pasted in the checksums correctly.
 "livecheck" said "hs-mmap seems to have been updated (port version: 0.4.1,
 new version: 0.5.6)", but I figure that's OK.
