 Two months ago I moved to Snow Leopard and yesterday I executed "port
 install kcachegrind". It is the first time I used MAcPorts since I
 upgraded the OS. Am I answering your question?

 Yesterday I also installed MacPorts from sources (it seems the recommended
 approach for Snow Leopard). Could it have an influence?

 How can I recover the situation?
