Comment:

 I went ahead and checked in the patch along with the bump to 4.7.1, in
 r73343.  So, I'm closing this ticket in the belief that it is fixed -- I
 don't have a 10.4 box on which to do testing.  Please do reopen if the
 issue of this ticket is not addressed for you.
