 Don't forget WikiFormatting rules when writing in Trac tickets.

 The problem occurs when you fetch a distfile not as root, then try to
 install as root. The solution is to remove the distfile and try again, and
 make sure to always use root. Please see the previous instances of this
 problem in #25739, #26276, and #27184.
