Comment:

 I get the same thing, and updating the port to 2.5 does not help.

 This is an incompatibility with openssl 1.0.0 as [http://www.mail-
 archive.com/pound at apsis.ch/msg00773.html reported here] on their mailing
 list. They also provide a patch.
