 I'm sorry but I don't know how to determine the specific mirror used
 (newbie).  I can say that whatever the default mirrors for the base
 install would probably be used as I haven't changed anything else.  I'm
 happy to check if I could figure out how.  Can't find in FAQ or link
 provided.

 I did the reinstall of Macports this morning to get rid of all the cruft
 from trying to install a few packages that failed (qtiplot, unison,
 sphinx).  I did a force uninstall and then rm'd all the files as per FAQ.
 Then reinstalled Macports & started to reinstall my usual packages.

 Prior to the reinstall of the brand new version of Macports v1.9.2, I was
 running 1.9.2 and had libcaca installed.  I originally installed mplayer-
 devel with libcaca support using Macports v1.9.1.
