 It looks like a simple mod to 'configure' will work; I'm testing right now
 and it's looking promising.

 When you write "please give me an example" what exactly do you mean?
 There is a port called "gnuradio-examples" that can be installed if you
 want the examples that come with GNU Radio -- some of which make use of
 the USRP component.  Let me know if you mean something else.
