 Hmm ... if you remove that link, I wonder if the issue goes away?  You'll
 probably have to 'clean qt4-mac' and try from scratch & make sure to
 include the patch.

 This might be an issue of the way SYSROOT is treated in GCC 4.0 compared
 with 4.2; just guessing at this point.  From what I can see, all of the
 correct libraries are in place but the link command doesn't find them;
 which is quite strange.  Thus, obviously, something else is going on.
