 You mean *you* don't care about fixing it.  No surprise there. :-(

 But several users care, and have submitted patches.  And ryandesign added
 some possibly useful analysis in case some user decides to work on the
 issue and come up with a correct fix.

 At least leave this issue open so that other users will find the patches
 easily with a simple 16?PORT=mesa query.  I only found it because I
 contributed one of those patches.
