 I carefully completed all post-install steps, as advertised on Kdenlive
 project's page:
 {{{
 Post-install
 Run the following commands:
 % sudo chown -R $USER ~/Library/Preferences/KDE
 % sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 system.plist
 % sudo chown $USER /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 session.plist
 % launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 session.plist
 % open -a kdeinit4
 }}}
 nevertheless, ''kded4'' is not running, and command
 {{{
 open -a kded4
 LSOpenFromURLSpec() failed with error -10810.
 }}}
 fails to launch kde4.
