 I tried installing dolphin, which has wxwidgets as a dependency.  When
 building dolphin from svn I get this error:

 the googlecode instructions for installing dolphin are listed here:
 http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/MacOSX_Build

 I'm requesting an enhancement that wxwidgets be configured to support aui
 and whatever else dolphin needs, if not in the default install, then at
 least in a variant.
