 It's more complicated than that.  As stated it is configured by upstream
 to only build against /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk and the configure
 script only tests for Leopard and below.  Lots of internal bits
 depend on this. I expect this will be resolved in version 3.
