New description:

 The +aqua variant of xplanet does not build on my computer, using OS X
 10.6.4, XCode 3.2.4.
 Build command terminates with

 Log for xplanet is at:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_x11_xplanet/main.log
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

Comment(by ryandesign@…):

 It's using Carbon QuickTime, which is not available when building 64-bit.
 aqua variant should perhaps force 32-bit build with supported_archs.
