Comment(by and.damore@…):

 Due to default build arch on SnowLeopard and to wxWidgets being i386 only
 I had to add the following lines to Portfile
 {{{
 depends_skip_archcheck  maxima
 configure.build_arch    i386
 }}}

 in order to succesfully build wxmaxima.
