 If, indeed, it is the same error (407 - proxy authentication required)
 then the answer is the same: you need to talk to your responsible network
 admin and see how you can become authorized.  Nothing that MacPorts can do
 about this.

 If you are on a company network, the appropriate starting place is with
 your IT department or equivalent.

 Otherwise, your ISP may be using a proxy and you need to talk to them
 about their policy for this type of
 transfer and how you can be authorized.

 The checksum error comes from the fact that MacPorts is trying to checksum
 the error message instead of the
 actual file (which was not transferred due to your networks policy).
