 I experimented to see what info I could turn up and I found that the two
 things missing are fixed by this:

 sudo ls -l
 /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.6.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Headers/jni.h
 /usr/include/jni.h
 sudo ln -s
 /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.6.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Headers/jni_md.h
 /usr/include/
 }}}

 I know it's not very sophistocated but maybe it will help others.

 I know that the stuff in the Java world is outside of my domain so I'm
 actually going to take these two changes out after the build.

 Can your change be left in without breaking anything?
