 Jan,

 I found the problem. All these operations must be done to start digiKam:

 %% sudo chown -R $USER ~/Library/Preferences/KDE
 %% sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 system.plist
 %% sudo chown $USER /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 session.plist
 %% launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-
 session.plist
 %% open -a kdeinit4
 %% open -a digikam

 And look the result :
