 On my 10.6 system, Pallet opens and asks me where my macports1.0 Tcl
 package is (it's not in the standard location). Once I tell it, the main
 window gets a spinning progress indicator in it for a moment, then the app
 crashes, as in the attached crash log.

 For other users, whose macports1.0 Tcl package is in the default place,
 the app crashes pretty much right after launch, as
 [http://lists.macosforge.org/pipermail/macports-
 users/2010-October/022511.html reported on the mailing list].
