 As first check of your build evironment please check that you have built
 not only
 port gimp2 but its dependencies with the +no_x11 +quartz global variants.
 This
 includes (but is not limited to) gtk2, pango and cairo.  You also might
 try

 {{{
 otool -L ${prefix}/bin/gimp
 }}}

 to see if there are any references to X11 libraries.  If there any all
 bets are off.
