 gimp2 port has been regularly installed against atlas+gcc44 (see #26378),
 using tiger/MacBook-Pro;[[BR]]
 the menu bar of gimp 2.6.10, however, does show just 3 filters;[[BR]]
 I think, without having consistent proofs, that could depend on some gtk
 problems.
