 I didn't have xorg-cf-files installed, it didn't seem to be in the
 dependency graph for xfig (the toplevel port I wanted to install); it
 installed all the other xorg-*necessary* files though.  I ended up
 reinstalling imake and that brought in the necessary xorg-cf-files and
 fixed the problem.  This ticket can be closed ... but there might be a
 dependency missing some where.
