 I think the problem might have been that I had used

 INSTEAD OF

 DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH=$DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH:/opt/local/lib
 }}}



 Perhaps this info should be put somewhere clearly ? In the FAQ section ?
