 You should report this problem to the developers of glib2. I don't have
 the expertise to fix this, nor a 64-bit PowerPC system on which to test
 any potential fixes.

 The workaround for now would be to not use the ppc64 architecture, and to
 instead build everything with architecture ppc.

 P.S: Consider updating to Xcode 3.1.4.
