 Thanks, that did the trick. Sorry for the spam, but for the sake of anyone
 who finds this via search:

 I did `grep -ls png12 /opt/local/lib/*` and `grep -ls png12
 /opt/local/bin/*`, performing a forced upgrade of anything that came up.
 All is well, and I will never run upgrade with the -n flag again.
