 Hi, I'm one of the Xapian developers and I use a mac for my main dev box
 so keeping this port updated would not be much trouble for me; all the
 software compiles correctly on OSX so the ports should not be complicated
 at all. If you are interested in having a permanent maintainer for the
 Xapian packages I would be happy to do that. I'm also attaching the diff
 for bumping the ports to 1.2.5.
