 When I tried to install py26-pyqt3, it failed to patch py26-sip-qt3.  I'm
 using 10.6.7.

 sudo port install py26-pyqt3--->  Computing dependencies for py26-sip-qt3
 --->  Fetching py26-sip-qt3
 --->  Verifying checksum(s) for py26-sip-qt3
 --->  Extracting py26-sip-qt3
 --->  Applying patches to py26-sip-qt3
 --->  Configuring py26-sip-qt3
