 I'm guessing you're using portdbformat flat? You'll want to edit the
 receipt for whichever variant isn't actually active and change 'active 1'
 to 'active 0'. And then switch to sqlite; that will be the only choice as
 of the next release anyway, so bugs in the flat registry basically aren't
 going to get fixed.
