 I recently did a full upgrade and found that awesome didn't recompile when
 libpng was upgraded. In addition, when I uninstalled it and
 recompiled/installed awesome, I found that it depended on cairo+x11_xcb in
 the build but not in the port dependency. Therefore, it failed to compile.

 Library Dependencies: lua, glib2, pango, cairo, xorg-libxcb, xorg-
 randrproto,

 libpng should be in this list. And, the +x11_xcb should carry through.
