 Attached please find an updated Portfile .diff and the main.log showing
 the build error which causes gtkpod to fail to build:

 :info:build ld: duplicate symbol _CONF_ID in .libs/filetype_iface.o and
 .libs/gtkpod_app_iface.o
 :info:build collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

 I have attempted to troubleshoot this problem by

 =gtkpod-devel writing to the upstream project's email list]; however the
 suggestions from that project's lead did not resolve the issue.[[br]]
 Help from someone with a better understanding of dependencies and ld would
 be appreciated.[[br]][[br]]
