Comment:

 Well it didn't come from Mac OS X, Xcode or MacPorts, so something you
 installed put it there.

 /usr/local/bin is also not a good location for you to be putting software
 if you want to use MacPorts. Please remove /usr/local to ensure you do not
 encounter other strange errors with ports.
