 No, I don't have any other gettext. I know there's a ticket with similar
 symptoms (#28633), but I believe it's the different case. I actually tried
 uninstalling and reinstalling Macports gettext before opening this ticket.

 Also, as I said earlier, simply adding -lgettextlib to src/Makefile fixed
 the build, so I think it's the configure script making wrong assumptions
 somewhere and not adding this flag.
