New description:

 I have fcron @3.0.4_0 installed on both my MBP and iMac running OS X 10.7
 (Lion) with Macports 2.0.1. fcron will not shut down in response to either
 of these commands:

 {{{
   sudo port unload fcron
   sudo launchctl /Library/Launchdaemons/unload org.macports.plist
 }}}

 The daemondo process for fcron does shut down, but the "fcron -b" process
 continues to run, regardless of whether fcron is actually running any
 jobs.
