 Here is a *possible* solution suggested by Peter. I applied the fix to
 Fuse4X HEAD and compiled fuse4x package

 It fixes the Finder permission issue on Lion for me. Could anyone please
 confirm it as well?

 PS Note: you need to compile encfs agains standalone version of Fuse4X or
 use precompiled EncFS from here
