 hugin-app does not have a universal variant at all:

 hugin-app has the variants:
    debug: Enable debug binaries
 }}}
 However, it requires wxwidgets, which can only be built 32-bit. Therefore
 MacPorts must rebuild wxwidgets and related dependencies universal, so
 that they will be both 64-bit (to satisfy your existing software) and
 32-bit (to satisfy hugin-app). Complaints about wxwidgets only being
 32-bit should be directed to the developers of wxwidgets. You can also
