 I suppose that other ports like rubber would be affected by the same
 problem. Shouldn't this be a change done in base (which should include all
 the "standard" directories)? The real meaning of bin:latex:texlive-latex
 should be: if latex is not in the bin path, then add the texlive-latex
 dependency.
