New description:
Good Evening,
When I try to build the help2man package for MacPorts v2.0.1 (it's a
dependency for nodejs-devel), I get an error about an unknown dependency:
{{{
[root at dolph:~ ] # port install help2man
---> Computing dependencies for help2man
Error: Dependency 'p5.12-locale-gettext' not found.
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets>
}}}
Investigating further, it seems there is a similarly named package:
{{{
[dolph:~ ] $ port search locale-gettext
p5-locale-gettext @1.50.0 (perl)
Perl interface to GNU gettext
}}}
...so this may just be a typo.
Are there any ways I can fix this on my end, or should I wait for a new
release of the help2man package?
Thanks for your time,
-- Doug

Comment:
