 It would be great to have the latest version of Boost available via
 MacPorts!

 Changing 1.47.0 to 1.48.0 (and updating the checksums to match the new
 tarball) in the current Portfile produces … (going to make a coffee while
 I wait to find out ;) … yes, it built OK.

 I will attach the build log for reference, and a patch to the portfile.
