 Thanks a lot. I used the solution you proposed (modify the compiler on the
 cmd line).
 xemacs is now installed but the execution fails:

 ~home->xemacs
 dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib
   Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libXpm.4.dylib
   Reason: Incompatible library version: libXpm.4.dylib requires version
 8.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 7.0.0
 Trace/BPT trap: 5
