 I'm afraid I don't have an OS X 10.6 /  Xcode 3 machine to test this on,
 so I cannot directly investigate....

 The error you are getting seems to be the one revision 1 was supposed to
 fix, by using root's built in GLEW instead of MacPorts version, so I don't
 understand.

 Could you try a full clean uninstall then reinstall. If it still fails try
 disabling the opengl variant.
