 The culprit apparently is `-fvar-tracking`, which is enabled automatically
 when compiling with debug info and optimization. I could successfully
 build wireshark 1.6.4 (and 1.7.0 for that matter) with Xcode 4.2.1's llvm-
 gcc-4.2 when I specified configure.cflags="-fno-var-tracking".
