 I created this port mainly for personal use, so consider it as a draft
 open for further improvement.
 I had to use cvs because latest stable doesn't include recent updates that
 makes it easily compile on mac (they added autoconf/automake support and
 other fixes).

 The little patching needed to compile with clang is because inline keyword
 is interpreted differently from gcc (clang use C99 while gcc GNU89):
 http://clang.llvm.org/compatibility.html#inline
 I submitted my proposed fix (simply remove inline keyword) to the
 developer.
