 The portfile is explicitly setting 'configure.cxx g++', and has done that
 (or the equivalent) since the port was first added 6 years ago. I can't
 imagine why that would be necessary or desirable these days; it probably
 should have been removed as soon as a default configure.cxx value was
 added.
