 I had a similar situation (for the same goal - building digikam 1.8). My
 solution was to uninstall MacPorts (this might not be necessary, but I was
 quite frustrated...) and to wait a few days for new package versions to
 come. Some days later everything worked fine for me with Kdepimlibs4 @4.6
 and Akonadi @1.5. Do you have Soprano installed (on my Mac it's Soprano
 @2.5.63)?
