 Unfortunately, gobject-introspection seems to be an indirect dependency
 of a vast swath of ports. On my system, gobject-introspection is tripping
 over #28479. As a result, I am unable to upgrade atk, gdk-pixbuf2, and
 pagno, all of which are in turn dependencies of various other ports.

 It would be great if we could remove all of those dependencies on this
 port with strategic use of --disable-introspection, but I have my doubts.
